Our client in Stockholm is looking for a System Engineer - GSM Network Performance. The contract is for 6 months with possible extensions. Key skills: GSM BSC, RRM Design, BSC design, PCU design, GSM KPI, GSM QoS Job Description: . Identify performance impacting areas within BSC, PCU and BTS and define approaches for improving performance in these areas . Define design solutions for improving GSM RRM algorithms to achieve required QoS . Provide definition of improved performance functions as input for simulation . Define measurements and KPIs related to GSM resource and traffic for performance monitoring and use in service management design within BSC, BTS . Define and analyse performance optimisation possibilities of BSC/BTS using RRM and OAM interactions . Assess Standards evolution impacts on BSC/BTS and in particular on RRM performance . Assessing future improvements of GSM performance management design and algorithms approach Essential Skills required: . Experience in GSM BSC resource control functions design . Experience of GSM Network with respect to services performance characteristics . Experience in GSM BSC traffic signalling protocols . Experience in wireless network performance analysis and optimisation. . Good knowledge of GSM standards specifications Additional skills required: . Fluent spoken and written English . Good communications and presentation skills . The ability to communicate and work in multicultural team environment Beneficial: . Knowledge of OAM . Knowledge of QoS .
