Job Description


In this role you will be part of the Store Stock Moves Product team and be responsible for the design and architecture of its products ensuring they support H&M’s objectives and strategy, both short and long term. In addition, you will support other developers and when needed be coding as well.


The mission of the Store Stock Moves product team is to delight our customers by ensuring products from the store become available to them in the right time, place, and condition. This is achieved through the movement of stock from the store to other locations such as (but not limited to) another store or warehouse. We are also using RFID technology in our solutions, making our product a front runner in leading technology.


As the architect, you will drive change and improvements in the IT landscape by working with the product team and our stakeholders. Together with the product owner, development team and surrounding architects/product teams you will realize the roadmap for cloudification of the solutions. This will help us build the future features and refactoring that will empower the users in stores to perform their tasks smoothly with up-to-date modern tools. You will also be key in transforming integrations from current publish-subscribe to API-based.


You will be an internal champion of the Store Stock Move products by communicating and presenting to technical teams and translating to business teams so that it is well understood. The Store Stock Moves team consists of a Product Owner, Business Experts and Software Engineers with technical skills in SAP and mobile application development.


You will support technical teams with reviews of system design proposals, assist them in development, and also assist in any troubleshooting of issues beyond the first 3 levels of support.


In this role, you will work closely with other architects and technical leaders. You will be creative with solution ideas and where needed do some research and investigations with internal and external teams.
You will be the technical lead of development which means that you should have good knowledge of the full Microsoft stack. You should set the technical architecture when we migrate from an On-prem solution to the new Azure platform.
