For this they have the European Logistics Center based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The European Strategic headquarters are based in two locations - Company Business Solution's are in London, the UK, and the Corporate Strategy Centre is based at the Operational headquarters in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, which also includes the Company Consumer Team and the European Logistics Centre.

The core business areas are Company Business Solutions, Company Consumer Imaging in addition to Industrial Products including broadcast lenses, Semi-Conductor's and Medical Equipment.

Responsibilities: Within the Infrastructure Operations Support Department in the ICT Business Unit, we are looking for a Netapp Storage Engineer due to the expanding nature of our business. The Netapp Storage Engineer is responsible for providing all aspects of 3rd line operational support for all Netapp storage systems, including disk arrays, backup and recovery systems, in addition to media libraries. Good knowledge of Windows systems is required

Key Tasks:
Participate in the development of standards for all storage systems. Write operational procedures for 2nd and 3rd line support of storage systems. Perform release management (patching, updating, and upgrading) for storage systems. Ensure the stability of the Netapp storage systems. Participate in activities to improve and guarantee performance of storage systems. Execute activities associated with continuous service improvements. Perform acceptance testing for new implementations of storage systems. Participate in the retirement of obsolete storage systems and their eventual replacement by next generation components. Participate in the automation of storage management tasks. Perform regular preventive maintenance on storage systems. Train OCC staff and work to handover basic tasks to the Service Desk or OCC. Cooperate and communicate effectively with other teams internal and external to the Infrastructure division. Work with third party partners, such as Netapp Commvault and Microsoft. Work with the support team on new implementations.

Decision Making Authority
Decisions related to operational tasks of the Netapp Storage environment.

Performance Measures:
Outages in production environments. Adherence to standards and procedures. Scheduled maintenance activities executed successfully and error-free. Systems kept up to date and under support. New implementations are integrated successfully into operations

Requirements:
Fluent English, written and spoken. Strong inter-personal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications, training users in complex topics, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with upper management. Independent problem solving; self-direction.
