The Network function within IT Operations is now looking for Network Security Technicians focusing on Firewalls.Network is a department within IT Operations that provides an end-to-end connectivity service.Our responsibilities cover LAN, WAN, telephony, security, external connections, addressing, monitoring and documentation services.We work in a global manner and create standards with our colleagues in Älmhult, Germany, Singapore and North America.As a Network Security Technician you will work on an operational level, "hands on" with network security issues.For this role we are looking for someone who has worked 8-10 years with WAN/LAN and 5-6 years with network security at a global enterprise.We think you are experienced within the areas of .Network security - specialized in firewalls . Routing/switching . Remote access .DNS In the role you need to: - Have a great interest in specializing within network security.- Have problem solving and analytical skills related to critical thinking.- Understand the ITIL processes such as Change Management, Configuration Management and Incident Management etc.- Have competence to act in order to achieve the expected quality in line with IKEA cost consciousness.You will be part of a joyful, prestige less and creative team of 16 persons.Besides your technical skills, your personality is highly valued.It is important to us that you think work is fun and appreciates your co-workers.We are looking for you who enjoy taking own initiative yet co-operate.A person who value simplicity, humbleness and IKEA culture, has good communication skills both verbally and in writing - Swedish and English and who is able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.You must be able to adapt to new challenges and demands, both technical changes and new ways of working, take own initiatives to make things happen.
