Randstad Digital are now looking for a network technician for a part-time consultant position. Here you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house data, video, and wireless network services. The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support for our client´s network infrastructure,
ensuring optimal performance and security. This role is crucial for maintaining the daily operations of the company's IT systems and achieving seamless communication across departments. Success in this position requires a thorough understanding of network protocols, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and troubleshoot network-related issues efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Monitor Network Performance: Continuously monitor the performance of the network to identify issues and ensure
optimal performance.
• Install and Configure Network Hardware: Install, configure, and support network hardware such as routers, switches,
and firewalls.
• Maintain Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network from unauthorized
access, breaches, and other security threats.
• Troubleshoot Network Issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to the network.
• Manage Network Upgrades: Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to improve performance and
capacity.
• Support End-Users: Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with network connectivity issues and other
network-related problems.
• Document Network Changes: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and
troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform Network Audits: Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with network security practices and tools.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
• Ability to lift and move network equipment.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, such as network closets.
• Capability to work on ladders or elevated surfaces when necessary.
• Valid Class B driver's license
