We believe you bring the following knowledge & experience:
· Solid experience from working with new businesses and strategic innovation.
· In depth knowledge of, and passion for people’s life at home, tech and how it can be applied to drive change.
· Taken new solutions from idea to launch and can navigate between design thinking, agile and lean processes as needed.
· Proven success in obtaining good results in developing a profitable business
· Know-how of solution validation from the perspectives of desirability, feasibility and viability.
· Strong management experience in high level complexity business with cross functional relations
· Strong IKEA business knowledge and deep understanding of IKEA decision making management structure and ways of working/ processes.
· Deep understanding of IKEA vision, business idea, business model & IKEA value chain.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will lead strategic initiatives within a prioritized innovation area, orchestrating cross-competence teams to explore, develop and deploy new service business and innovative solutions to secure that Ingka and IKEA will be in the forefront to meet future challenges and opportunities.
· Lead strategic initiatives end-to-end to drive development in line with the innovation area business direction and goals
· Recruit, lead, develop and empower cross competence teams, ensuring the right partners are onboard and contributing to the creation of successful new businesses and innovative solutions.
· Oversee, manage and adjust the process, end-to-end, for assigned initiatives/projects within scope (timing, budget and result) according to the Develop New Solutions (DNS) process and methodology.
· Work together with portfolio leaders in order to update and adjust the development tool and create necessary documentation for decision bodies.
· Lead the development and creation of business cases, in accordance with the DNS process and methodology, to secure approval and progress in line with requirements.
· Work together closely with internal partners to ensure alignments, prioritization, and timely contributions to drive different initiatives in different stages of development (including explorations, acceleration programs, partnership, and ventures)
· Oversee and manage the innovation initiative within time and budget, setting goals and OKRs together with cross competence team
· Responsible for decision on “stop/pause” and “accelerate”, as well as prioritization and for identifying, mitigating and managing risks related to the initiatives.
You will report to the New Business & Innovation Area Manager and be based in Malmö, Sweden.
