We’re looking for a Thermal Designer to join our diverse and inclusive team in Kista, Stockholm. At Ericsson Sweden, our Thermal Solutions Unit is made up of highly skilled professionals dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions for managing the thermal performance of next-generation telecommunications hardware.
What You Will Do
· Collaborate with thermal designers in Kista and across our global network
· Drive and nurture a learning, innovative, and creative culture within the team
· Promote cross-team collaboration, both within the organization and globally
· Lead partnerships with sub-suppliers to develop advanced hardware, including fan trays,vapor chambers, and multi-phase cooling devices such as Vapor Chambers and Thermosiphons
· Author and take ownership of hardware requirement specification
· Coordinate project timelines and sub-supplier schedules to ensure seamless execution
The Skills You Bring
· M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent knowledge through education
· Strong interest in the ICT industry
· Basic understanding of R&D processes and product development concepts through academic projects or coursework
· Familiarity with industry standards such as NEBS and ETSI (or a willingness to learn)
· Excellent communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
· Interest in gaining a solid understanding of the hardware design and development process
· Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and embrace diverse ways of working
· A mindset to make fact-based, thoughtful decisions, always putting team and project success first
· A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your actions and contributions
