NGO Online Solutions Manager

Precio Fishbone is a Swedish IT consulting firm specialising in Microsoft-based solutions, with offices across Sweden as well as London, Ottawa, Copenhagen and Ho Chi Minh City. Founded in 2001, Precio Fishbone has been working with humanitarian and international development NGOs since 2003.
‘NGO Online’ is a cloud-based programme, project and grant management IT solution designed specifically for the international humanitarian and development NGO sector. The NGO Online team within Precio Fishbone consists of IT and former NGO-sector practitioners.


General overview of the position:
The Solutions Manager is an experienced NGO-sector practitioner who will be responsible for managing the client relationship and coordinating the design and implementation of new system implementations of the ‘NGO Online’ IT solution. This includes the leading and facilitation of workshops, system configuration, testing, trouble-shooting and verifying the solution, as well as developing and executing project plans. The role also provides clients with change management support and guidance on project and grant management best practice and learning examples from previous implementations and the broader NGO sector to ensure a successful system delivery.


Qualifications – Must haves:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in International Development
+3 years’ experience working in international humanitarian or development NGOs
+3 years’ experience implementing programme and grant management software solutions for international NGOs
+2 years’ experience configuring and implementing solutions based on Office 365 and Box
Demonstrable experience leading system requirements gathering processes, including scoping, design specification and prioritisation against budget and timeline
Experience with trouble shooting and system testing
Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrable ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Willing to travel on company business as needed



Qualifications – Desirable:
Demonstrable knowledge of M&E approaches and best practice within the NGO sector 
Demonstrable knowledge of change management approaches and best practice
Ability to break down complex topics for different audiences
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology
