Propell Propell For an international manufacturing group, Nordic Interim is looking for an Interim Finance Manager for a 12 months assignment. The Group is a leading manufacturer Headquartered in Central Europe. Late 2008, a Financial Shared Service Center was implemented to cover the local finance tasks for all legal entities in Sweden. Now, the Finance manager Sweden will go on maternity leave and therefore a qualified replacement is needed. The AssignmentThe overall objective for the Interim Finance Manager is to complete the implementation of the Service Center and it's processes as well as accelerate the individual development of the finance team in their new roles. - Secure a timely, stable and reliable reporting to HQ and regional management - Drive the development of the accounting processes and get the required routines in place - Secure a continued favourable tax position and filing of tax returns with support from external expertise - Secure a correct IFRS reporting with a special focus on pension liabilities to past and present employees. - Build and manage required relations within the organisation and the regional finance team The Interim Finance Manager will be accountable to the Regional Finance Manager. The assignment is expected to be full time and to last through the summer of 2010. ProfileThe ideal candidate is a seasoned Finance Manager with strong leadership abilities coupled with a rigorous and hands-on financial know-how and approach for all reporting and accounting responsibilities. Specific requirements include: - Experienced Finance Manager with an international manufacturing industry and services background - In depth accounting know-how and ability to quickly grasp the current situation and interest in driving the development of the accounting processes - Good leadership ability and influencing skills - able to lead, motivate and coordinate the work of peers and staff - Strong communication and presentation skills - Up-to-date grasp of IFRS Does this sound interesting?
