Our company is growing and improving every day, we are constantly improving our offer and our way of working. You will manage a team of full timers and part timers in Sweden and Norway, while being a part of the Operations Management team in the group.

We have long time contracts with carriers for distributing to customers all over Scandinavia. You will be responsible for building a constructive and professional relationship to them, ensuring quality and cost in more than 40.000 deliveries every week. Our set up is optimized every week, and we work in structured way to improve our business.

Role content

• Head of day-to-dayoperations in logistic department
• Heading the improvement and development within linehaul and last mile deliveries, including software innovations.
• Develop close, trustingand proactive relationship with carriers and other partners
• Responsible for negotiations with all carriers and strengthen structured follow up of carriers
• Manage the team in Norway and Sweden (9 employees)
• Budget, cost controland improvements
• Empowerment and development of staff
• Work for more sustainable delivery options
• Improve and work structured and proactive to reach targets on ETA, cost/delivery, claim/quality in deliveries
• Participate in projects cross functional to innovate the mealtime experience

Your background

5-10 years of experience with transport, preferably last-mile marked.

You have a bachelor (min, in combination with relevant experience) or a master in

relevant subjects: Logistics, transport, supply chain management and/or economics.

You are fluent in at least one of the Nordic languages and in English, oral and written

Also, you have experience in the last mile marked in Norway and Sweden, improvement projects as well as good data knowledge. You have proven negotiation skills and experience from building teams and empowering staff, management skills and cooperation cross functional.

We believe that you are a good communicator with teamwork skills, and with the ability to interact successfully with both business and production. You are also highly organized and like to work hands-on. You take pride in your work, and act with integrity and professionalism towards colleagues and coworkers.

In this role, you will report to the Group COO. The position will be placed at our production site in Mölnlycke, right outside Göteborg. There will be between 20 to 40 traveling days a year.
