Working description Nordic System Support, NSS, is the internal IT support department for all Scandic hotels in the Nordic countries.We contribute with competence and appropriate contacts with the purpose to minimize the time spent on IT problems at the hotels.NSS gives support 24[hours a day and 7 days a week.We have tools to help us solving problems remotely and we use a case handling system to register and follow up on all cases.[ After just have been sold by Hilton Corporation, we are about to start a very interesting journey within IT where we will build up a totally new IT environment e.g.establishing a new Reservation system, new Customer Information system, new Website and a new Loyalty program.[ Your role will be to support approximately 130 Scandic hotels in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Baltic's and give them good service and help them with their IT[related problems mainly within the following areas:[ - Hotel systems (Fidelio, Sales & Catering, Interfaces among others).- Mail system (GroupWise) - Reservation System - PC (hardware and software) - LAN/WAN[[ The procedure will be to receive, register, analyze and solve incoming cases and if necessary also escalate the problem to a specialist function.You are good in giving effective and structured daily support in a positive and accommodating way.[ Your background We are looking for you, who really like working with service and support.You are good in communicating and to express yourself both verbally and in writing.You have good cooperating skills and are good in adjusting to different persons and situations.Further on you are good in working in pressured situations and are not afraid of new challenges.[Good knowledge in English, both verbally and in writing, is a demand.[ We really appreciate your experience from the hotel business and maybe you today work as IT[Supervisor, Front Desk team member, Night Manager or come from the conference department.If you work with IT service and support within an external company today and have experience of some or of all of the above-mentioned areas.However, it is very important that you have a genuine interest in IT and technique.[ If the profile fits you, we have the job with really good opportunities to personnel development in an open and stimulating working environment where you also have the possibility to affect the development of our new team.This can either be the first or the second step in a possible[IT career within the company.[ Working conditions Full time.On duty night and weekend is included.Place of work Scandic, Hälsingegatan 40, Stockholm.Salary Monthly salary.On duty (night/weekend) specific compensation will be paid out.For more information, please contact Ann-Louise Jakobsson, Service- and Support manager.
