Well hello there! Glad to see you made it here. As you may have guessed, Magine is looking for a combined Office Manager & HR Assistant to cover a maternity leave starting as soon as possible until the beginning of September 2021. Right now we need someone who can work 50% but that may increase over the next coming months*.

So first of all, what does Magine do?
We are building a globally distributed video streaming platform and all that it entails as far as infrastructure, architecture, operations, latency, reliability, uptime and so on. As developers we need to build software that will handle humongous™ load while still keeping low response times and correctness. We want our systems to be up for the challenges of the real world and we want you to join us in making it happen.

How will you spend your days at Magine?
So the baseline is; you will be the "go to" person when it comes to anything office related. Days can vary a lot but this is what you will be doing most of the time:

- Prepare office breakfast every morning
- Help prepare meetings (organize lunch, fika, coordinate calendars etc.)
- Assist the HR generalist with on- and off boarding of employees
- Be the admin of our recruitment tool Teamtailor
- Help coordinate interviews for potential candidates
- Organize themed (and regular) afterworks / summer party / Christmas party
- Make sure the office looks neat and tidy (meeting rooms equipped, kitchen clean, coffee machines ready to use, common areas hang out friendly etc.)
- Welcome visitors
- Be the contact person of office related vendors + our landlord
- Health and safety
- Be a culture driver and spread good vibes among the company!


Your education / work experiences:

- At least 2 years experience of working as an office manager / facilities coordinator.
- You have experience of HR administrative tasks since you will be supporting our HR Generalist a lot. One big plus is if you have studied / are studying anything HR related.
