O'Learys Umeå is looking for restaurant assistants with a passion for the guest experience!

We are looking for:
Service minded people that has at least 1 year's work experience from a service profession, preferably from a restaurant/bar, and has experience of handling payments and cash systems. You have a highschool education and have good knowledge of English both in speaking and writing (merit if you can speak Swedish)

As a person, you are happy, outgoing and service minded. You are self-propelled, flexible and constantly on your toes to grab the tasks that need to be done in the restaurant. We also see that you are good at handling stress and handle your work in a professional and thorough manner, regardless of whether it is low season or if we have 600 seated guests.

Tasks:
As a Restaurant Assistant, you are responsible for supporting service and kitchen staff in operation, which means a broad and important role. As a restaurant assistant, you can be assigned the following roles:

Runner - This means that you are in constant motion out in the restaurant to pick up plates, set the table, help the service staff to carry out food and make sure that the restaurant looks good by picking up rubbish / glass / bottles, refilling service stations / hygiene items etc.

Dish - This means that you have full responsibility for the dishes working optimally, that all dishes from the restaurant are collected in the dish room, washed and then carried out to the right place.

Service - This means that you act as a waiter / waitress and have 100% responsibility for hospitality. You welcome and pay attention to each guest, place them at the table, take orders, carry out and serve food / drinks and ensure that our guests have a fantastic experience with us by being helpful, responsive and above all very pleasant!

Wardrobe - This means that you receive guests by the wardrobe, hang their outerwear and charge at checkout. You keep order in the wardrobe room, have a constant review and then help the guests to pick up their clothes at the end of the evening.

Kitchen assistant - This means that you help in the kitchen by preparing for lunch or á la carte. This can be preparing raw materials or simple meals, helping to clean equipment, helping with inventory or similar.
