Networks operates the business area network and it platforms.The overall mission is to secure that products are developed and produced with the volume, functionality, quality and cost level that is demanded from the business area units.In total Networks has 2,200 employees and comprises operations in 13 countries.Incident Management Centre (IMC) in TeliaSonera Broadband Networks is the new operations control centre running 24/7/365 where all broadband related networks, network resources, applications, servers and general operation equipment are monitored to provide maximum performance and availability.The IMC will be a new function in Karlstad which replaces several previous operation centres.[ We are now seeking 16 highly talented Operation Engineers.Job description IMC Operator is responsible to follow TeliaSonera Event and Incident Processes * Work in TeliaSonera Global Network covering Nordic, European, US, Asian, Russian markets * Secure high quality in the networks * Provide excellent service towards customers and increase customer satisfaction * Manage the increased service complexity * Provide correct and timely information In practice IMC operator is handling alarms and customers complaints through accessing the network/server elements.Analyzes the impact of the fault, send out network status information, coordinate sub-contractor, spare parts and network providers and if possible restore remotely.If needed perform technical escalation to platform engineers, vendors and network providers.If needed perform management escalation/information and handle media contacts.What we offer TeliaSonera new function IMC covers everything from future technology with innovative solutions, new customers and operation with remote handling all over the world.Therefore there are golden opportunities to work with a variety of assignments.You can challenge yourself, experience new environments and develop your technical skills.Qualifications * You have university degree 180 points within the areas IT, Data or Telecommunication * You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing * You are service minded in customer and sub contractor's relationship * Experience within operation 24/7 * Experience within Windows, Unix and Linux area * Experience within one or several areas Fibre, xWDM, SDH, IP, IT or Voice areas Personal characteristic * High stress endurance * Have the talent to work in teams and independent * Easy to learn new technique
