Operational purchaser

About the role
We are looking for an temporary Operational purchaser for our international customer in Lund who will join the purchasing team for 5 months. 

As a Operational Purchaser your major responsibilities includes:

• Support to the operational purchasing team in Lund.
• Daily purchasing through SAP, follow up on requests to suppliers and managing delivery times.
• Registration of order confirmations and updating Purchase orders
• Ensure payment of invoices and follow up on statistics and handling of market company delivery requests through ticket system.
• Keep close contact with allocated suppliers and communicating with customer representatives internally.
• Support team of colleagues with backup in outlook (email) according to rolling schedule.

The role as Operational purchaser is a consultant assignment for approximately 5 months with starting date 2022.05.16. The office is based in Lund.

About you
We are looking for you who have studied an education with a focus on purchasing or Supply Management at a university or college. The position requires at least one year of experience of similar work as you will work independently in a coordinated, operational and developing role. We are happy to see that you come with a wonderful attitude that benefits both teams and businesses. You have a genuine interest in growing in a purchasing role and enjoy a varied job at a high pace.

Required skills:
• SAP
• Good written and verbal skills in English
• Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook

Preferred skills:
• Purchasing and replenishment experience
