Operational Purchaser & Planner

The Job As a central department within the Supply Chain department, the Purchase department is responsible for sourcing and purchasing of components to our analytical solutions.The Purchase department is divided into 3 key areas, working with operational, project and Strategic Purchasing.You will be responsible for operational purchasing, coordinating efforts with your strategic and project colleagues.For the first 6 months your time will be divided between the purchase department and the planning department.Planning and Purchasing - delivering results You will be responsible for: . Managing all daily contact with the suppliers .Procuring parts for production according to the approved production plan and in a way that is consistent with the overall logistics strategy.. Evaluation of suppliers with the use of performance Key Performance Indicators . Marinating master data, supplier data and purchasing data . Implementing engineering changes on purchased parts . Reviewing suppliers together with the strategic purchaser . Participating in Projects within the Supply Chain organisation With regard to the planning function you will be responsible for: . Production and material planning . Monitoring and information about delivery times . Maintenance of master data . Approve construction changes Qualifications A candidate for this position must meet the following requirements: . Have 2+ yrs working experience with planning and purchasing with documented results . Experience in Excel, Word, and with ERP systems (SAP) .Structured .
