Operational Risk Manager

Catella Brand AB is looking for an Operational Risk Manager who wants to be part of the exciting journey in continuing to develop Catella’s alternative investment portfolio consisting of mainly property investments.
What You Will Do
Front office liaison to Compliance and Regulations
Risk Management and Internal Audit
Lead and provide oversight to risk processes to enhance scalability, efficiency and governance of operations and investments
Manage FX hedging policy and reporting
Develop Risk Management tools, practices, and policies
Facilitate the identification of risks throughout the firm, with a focus on operational, reporting and investment risks
Develop and prepare dashboards and risk reporting materials
Provide subject matter expertise and support to senior leaders to execute their risk management responsibilities
Monitor the external environment for emerging risks and events that can have an impact on the firm
Assist the CFO in conducting firm-wide training for risk management
Develop relationships across the firm and collaborate to strengthen the overall risk assessment and monitoring processes
Leverage existing or develop targeted material to deliver actionable risk reporting to business areas as needed

You’ll Need To Have
Bachelor’s degree or higher
7 years’ minimum experience in a risk management function, ideally in a leadership position at another asset manager or related financial services firm
Work experience in an international organization is a requirement and having worked outside of Sweden a major plus
Knowledge of enterprise risk management, global expansion, investment assessments, and business continuity planning
Ability to work in a dynamic environment including translation of complex concepts and issues into insights for senior leadership and non-technical audiences
Ability to influence positive change and cultivate relationships to accomplish goals
Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset
Strong organization skills and capability to handle multiple projects
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
