The Operations Controller is part of the Digital Business Support Team within the Digital Strategy & Transformation domain. The domain is primarily focused on improving effect and efficiency in the Digital organization by both strategic directions, transformation and supporting efficient operations.

The Digital Business Support Team is primarily focused delivering insights and data about the operations, budget management support, optimizing all software assets & licenses, smooth on-and offboarding, administrative support to all managers, events and activities to build culture and a great place to work etc.

The Operations controller role is accountable for closely monitoring the Digital department´s operational health. The role is not only looking at budget and forecast data but all KPI:s needed to build a 360 degree holistic view on the departments efficiency, effect and health. Including throughput insights, sustainability data, people data, time-reporting data, CO2-data, NPS data etc. The role is critical to proactively guide us to be on track and to help us learn and improve. Not just providing reports but regular deep-dive analysis on different topics. Curiosity and creativity are expected in developing new data points, reporting formats and smarter ways of working.



What you'll do

- Develop and continuously improve a KPI and data framework to tell the 360 story about the health and progress of the Digital department in all sites
- Lead and/or initiate deep-dive analysis on a broad set of topics to improve our learning and create hypothesis how we can improve effect and efficiency
- Together with Finance department improve our budgeting, follow-up and forecast processes
- Build detailed budget models to be able to understand cost drivers and facilitate scenario planning
- Digital´s process owner of the budgeting process
- Create an easy to understand story about "What does Digital at Polestar cost? Why? What do we get from the investments in digital"?"
- Responsible for keeping Digital´s ISO-documentation up to date and relevant
- Create c-level material for status reports, analysis findings or budgeting material
- Project lead new initiatives in process improvement, change management and data collection etc.

You are able to embrace complexity, simplify and deliver credible suggestions on how to take actions and deliver on strategic goals. You are known as a great listener who is eager to gather and use input from the team. You are building relationships and navigating through organizations easily, with the ability to coach and mentor all roles on the team.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

- University degree in a related field; Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar
- + 5 years of relevant work experience from similar roles in different companies
- Experience in streamlining budgeting and controlling processes in an international context
- Exemplary history of financial project management
- Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis
- Project management and change management experience
- Strong skills in analyzing operational efficiency and effect
- Experience in challenging status quo and creatively look for new ways of measuring, reporting, analyzing and working
- Skills in creating quality presentation material for boards and stakeholders
