Om kunden:

Westpay provides smart transaction and payment solutions in retail, e-commerce and self-service markets. The company was first in Sweden to launch contactless card terminals where you “blip” the card. They offer complete solutions for all kinds of payments and applications within industries as retail, hotel, restaurant and bank. Westpay is an innovative growth company which works closely with suppliers and users to develop the latest technique and to simplify the payment process.

Arbetsuppgifter:

The work is varying, and the role is divided between around 30% as internal IT Support and 70% as Operations Technician of Westpay’s payment and transactions solutions.

As Onsite IT Support you are responsible to support the office in IT related issues. These may be network issues, client management, Windows/Linux Server, Active Directory, Office365, licenses, troubleshooting, installations, etc. You run and solve tasks independently while providing best possible service.

As Operations Technician, you and an experienced colleague are responsible to see to that the payment solutions and applications meets the highest standards. You are in contact with developers, conduct troubleshooting, perform testing of the system and participate in the releases of new products. You are also responsible for application management, system administration in Linux and Windows, backup and database administration (PostgreSQL, MariaDB and MySQL).

The team is made of five great colleagues that together are responsible for the IT-support and operations management. The office is situated in Infra City, about 20 minutes north of Stockholm.

Profil:

• Experience in broad work within IT support.
• Good knowledge of network and preferably also firewalls.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Active Directory.
• Basic knowledge of Linux Server (RedHat)
• Fluent in English speaking and writing, Swedish is meritorious.

You are aware of tasks that needs to be done and independently take ownership in executing them, always with a colleague near when needed. You thrive in a creative and hands-on problem-solving environment.

Övrig information:

• This is a direct recruitment which means that the recruitment process is done through Bravura, but you will be employed directly with Westpay.
