Optics Engineer

Optics Engineer FOSS is a world leader of the development of analysis instruments based on NIR technology (near infra red) and we are currently recruiting an individual with a strong desire to work with optics in combination with electronics and/or mechanics.The Job You will be working with the product maintenance for our analytical instruments within the field of NIR spectroscopy.A large part of your tasks will be to fundamentally analyze and problem solve, optics related problems with our customers and production.Other tasks even include maintenance of test methods for our NIR modules and instruments.This even includes analysis and further development of existing test methods together with ensuring the functionality of our master instruments and test equipment. You will also be involved with our development projects to ensure that afterwards you are able to take responsibility for the future maintenance. Qualifications We believe you will have the following: . Honours degree in Electronics, Mechanics or Physics or equivalent.. Several years experience within the development of optomechanic / optoelectrical systems.. You are a practical worker with a solid theoretical base.. Familiarity with multivariable analysis methods .
