Your New Role 
We are looking for an Order Planning Manager for our client’s Order Planning team in Gothenburg.
This is a role for you who enjoy working in a global, cross-functional environment and want to be close to the daily operations. You will play an important role in planning and managing customer orders, ensuring high delivery precision and supporting smooth order flows across the global supply chain.
In this role, you will be responsible for order planning related to your product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with sales organizations, production sites, warehouses and central logistics functions to make sure customer needs are met in an efficient and proactive way.
You will also be part of an organization going through an exciting transformation journey, where continuous improvements, strong collaboration and customer focus are important parts of the daily work.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Planning and managing sales orders to meet customers’ requested delivery times.


Monitoring and administrating orders according to established order process guidelines.


Handling order-related processes such as order promising, order changes, returns and delivery stops.


Communicating proactively and efficiently with markets and internal stakeholders.


Initiating corrective actions to reduce the impact of operational deviations.


Managing and solving order cases together with customer units, market units, warehouses and production.


Following up and acting on key KPIs such as delivery precision and order handling time.


Contributing to continuous improvement activities together with front office teams, process teams, warehouses and production units.


Supporting efficient order flows across the global supply chain network.

To succeed in this role, you will need: 
You have a university degree in engineering or equivalent.


You have experience from working in a logistics environment.


You have good understanding of order planning, order management or supply chain processes.


You have strong communication and relationship-building skills.


You are responsive and comfortable working with several stakeholders across different functions.


You have a customer- and quality-focused mindset.


You have good organizing and analytical skills and can work proactively.


You have experience from cross-functional problem solving.


You understand the importance of continuous improvements and have experience participating in process improvement activities.


You are comfortable working in a global environment with international contacts.
