This position is available as working from home and as 30% (part-time) - 100% (full-time) dependent on the ideal candidates wishes / competencies / agreed work tasks


We are looking to bring onboard a true payroll specialist who can help us ensure that our employees across multiple locations in Sweden, will not have to worry about their salaries being correct. We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist who can:


proactively train and support our department managers in using the time/salary reporting systems correctly: Experience with "Planday" is a plus
proactively teach all of our employees, how to actually fully understand their salaries, so we provide complete clarity and avoid misunderstandings
process end-to-end monthly salaries, ensuring that approximately 150 employees with "collective agreement salaries" and "10 department managers" all receiving correct salaries
reporting all taxes, pension data, etc. externally and internally, ensuring we never miss a deadline
follow up with explanations to any questions from employees that might follow monthly salary delivery



*Experience with the union agreement between HRF/Visita or any knowledge of the hotel industry is a plus


The person we are looking for, should have a solid practical understanding of Swedish payroll processing, and possess a professional degree (Swe. “Yrkesutbildning”) in payroll processing or a similar level of certified knowledge and experience of the subject.


Due to the international nature of our industry and employees, our main working language is English, but the position also requires the candidate to speak fluent Swedish.


Essential Skills
Excellent understanding and experience of the principles and practice involved in the operation of a Swedish payroll.
A full working knowledge of the Hogia Payroll software.
Fluency in both English and Swedish (English is the official language for inter-company communications).
A full working knowledge of common office software such as Excel and Word.
Confident user of both Internet and e-mail.
A "can do" attitude and the ability to take ownership of designated tasks
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communicator with colleagues and sound organization skills.
Ethical approach to maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
A flexible approach to learning new skills and taking on extra responsibilities to meet the changing needs of the business.



Desirable Additional Skills
Specific experience Planday
Knowledge and experience in handling Swedish bookkeeping, accounting and financial planning would be advantageous but is not a requirement for this position.

Location: You will be working from home. Our employees are all working in hotels across Sweden and our other headquarter functions are either working from a hotel or from home.
Work hours: Full-time / Part-time
