About the Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the entire payroll process from start to finish. You will be one of two Payroll Specialists, jointly responsible for approximately 530 pay slips consisting of both collective agreements and white-collar employees. You will also work to support with system-related tasks, development of existing routines and processes, as well as pension and benefit management. Additionally, you will provide daily service and support to managers and employees throughout the organization. The role also includes updating, managing, and developing our systems, as well as HR administration. The role is located at our office in Mölndal, and you will report to HR Manager Services.

Some of your tasks and responsibilities will include:

Providing general support within payroll to managers, employees, finance, and HR.
Handling travel reimbursements, certificates.
Interpreting collective agreements and laws.
Managing finances, bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and vacation accruals.
Participating in negotiations at production sites.
HR administration, employment contracts, onboarding, data validation in the system.


What We're Looking For

Santa Maria is looking for someone who is proactive, takes responsibility, and can independently and together with their team plan their work and drive it forward. This is a role with multiple interfaces, so it's important that you have good collaboration skills in order to provide the best possible support to employees and managers with payroll-related questions. Furthermore, we expect you to be solution-oriented and able to analyze situations to identify possible solutions and adjust your own and your team's approach accordingly.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

3 years of experience in payroll.
Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
Experience with the entire payroll process.


It's also considered a merit if you have:

Interest in pension, bookkeeping, and finance.
Experience with Flex application and Workday.
