What are we doing?
Our agile release train (ART), Seats & Safety, is an ART within the solution Vehicle Tophat. We consist of 22 internal and external agile teams with the responsibility to develop mechanical hardware, electronics, software, and functions for the following products: Airbags, Steering Wheels, Seat Belts, Child Safety, and Seats.

We are now looking for a System Architect who wants to join us in our exciting journey to develop and keep our strong position in developing our seats and safety products. We work in close cooperation within the ART but also with our network and this is a great opportunity for you to develop new relations. What’s in it for you?
* You will be a part of the ART Management Team and lead the architecture work in the Seat&Safety area.
* You will work in close cooperation with our Product Manager, our suppliers, internal customers, and different car projects. You will lead advanced engineering tasks, deliver concepts and products to new car projects and to current running production.
* You will be collaborating with multiple stakeholders like Strategic Business Owners (SBO), Solution/Product Owners, Solution/System Architect both within and outside our unit.

What you’ll do
Working as a System Architect&Senior Design Engineer, you will define modules and their interfaces, communicate requirements for system-level design and secure built-in quality. You will secure long term strategies, architectural solutions and products in close collaboration with SBO, Product Management in the safety area. Your main tasks are to lead, develop, analyze, and realize the implementation of enabler epics/features/stories. You will participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, Pre-and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events. As team member in the Management team, you will be encouraged to constantly develop yourself, your team-mates, continuously improve the way of working and increase cross collaboration. Further, you need to work closely with stakeholders and other ARTs both within our own and other Solutions.
Do you fit the profile? 
We are looking for an experienced and senior technical leader in the development of components, functions, systems, or attributes with good leadership and collaboration skills. We believe you have a Master of Science degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Experience from working aboard is a merit.
To succeed in this role there is an advantage if you have a passion for developing technical road maps and collaboration with a high level of engagement and strong enthusiasm.You work with a team-oriented approach, supporting our helping culture and enjoy focusing on development activities during concept phases. Being a good team player, you recognize the benefits of working together and towards common goals.You should be fluent in English. It is very meritorious if you have experience in seats or occupant safety development.
