Volvo Cars IT Product Development is responsible for methods, information, applications and IT infrastructure supporting the development
of new cars and their manufacturing processes. We are working closely together with the involved business process representatives and we have
actively participated in taking Volvo Cars into a leading position of automotive development working methodology. We have a relatively small,
experienced core team of employees, but we manage altogether around 200 people for development, maintenance and support.

Job Description:

PD Management & Control is the business process responsible for how we run the vehicle development programs and how we manage the product and
engineering costs involved.
You will be responsible for planning, organizing and review all IT activities in this area.

You need to be able to communicate with our infrastructure team, with external maintenance and development partners and with the business
organisation.

You will be the IT responsible in the process team and will be involved in both IT and Process development.

Main IT solutions are required for:

Product Engineering Cost Management
Product Cost Management
Engineering Resource Management
Business Process Documentation solutions
PD Document Management activities
Financial documentation for Prototype Material and Test Vehicles

Qualifications:

Master degree in Information Technology or Engineering with IT flavour
At least 5 years experience of Product Development applications and processes
Good communicator, including good English language speaking and writing skills
