Planner (Tactical)

The Planning and Inspection Department is responsible for securing the packaging need for Volvo Emballage users with packaging material of the right quality at the right time. The responsibility for the Planner (tactical) is to ensure that the global packaging availability in the Emballage Pool corresponds to customer needs and user contracts (long term). The Planner (tactical) will be located in Göteborg, Sweden, and will report to the Manager Planning & Inspection (Dept 71900) Core Responsibilities: effectuate long-term global planning making sure that the parameters for purchasing budgets of packaging are established ensuring that the document inventory loss is updated updating the Purchasing plan approving volumes for new inputs to secure the capacity on our terminals (short-/long term) to lead and carry out the Planning council to be responsible for and maintain the prognosis model contributing to streamlining and cost minimisation of the whole distribution system and actively contribute to Operational Development (OD) develop and follow up on KPI for th Global Planning Process and establish corrective actions Qualifications: University Degree in Logistics or equivalent experience Strong analytical skills Experience of logistics in the automotive industry is considered a merit Excellent communication skillsWell organised - able to plan and carry out tasks and solve problems Operational Development (OD) leader/coach experience Fluent in English and Swedish both written and spoken Good computer literacy Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications Excel is preferred We believe you to be: A positive person with the ability to spread positive energy amongst your co workers.
