Plant Launch Leader

The section Plant Launch C-Shop in VCT, a dedicated team which works together with Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure that the plants musts and wants are in the new car programs or Running change process and being addressed to be able to delivering a successful launch. The section is a part of Plant Launch Team within Volvo Car's Manufacturing division. The group Plant Launch C-Shop includes persons in three shift today, the number of persons varies depending of the project we are plan to launch. There is one supervisor/shift. The group is responsible for preparing production to launch new car programs or running changes. Secure and plan Pre series build, review all decided installations, plan and follow up training for all operators and secure Quality.

As a Plant Launch Leader you will lead the team together with your supervisors, which means that you need to have good leader and organisational skills. The Plant Launch Leader needs to be flexible in working hours due to we are building pre series cars in three shift. Skilled to be able to present the result of the build to management team. You will work closely together with the responsible project leader in every project. Together you will secure that all prerequisites is in place before launch of our cars.

* Be a member in the management team for Plant Launch

Required qualifications

* 3-years technical high school
* Experience in leadership
* Production experience
* Documented experience from assignment leadership in the automotive industry is meritorious
* Data skills in Microsoft office
* Fluent in English, spoken and written
* Driver license
