COMPANY PRESENTATION Division Car Accessories Europe/Asia is the largest division within the Thule Group, the world s leading supplier of load carriers for cars.The Division delivers roof boxes, roof rails and bike carriers under the premium brand Thule.The Division, based in Hillerstorp, Sweden, has six production facilities in Europe and Asia.The Thule Group has around 2,300 employees at some 20 production and sales units in all the world s major car markets.The Group also offers snow chains and trailers under the brands König, Brenderup and Thule Rental.The turnover amounts to SEK 3,2 billion.Thule has its headquarter in Malmö, Sweden.Majority owner is the UK-based private equity company Candover.The position is responsible for leading the order fulfilment efforts by ensuring efficient procedures in the whole chain of operations. Key Deliverables Ensure that the budgeted performance in terms of cost and lead times of produced goods are met.Strengthening the manufacturing's capability to handle order fluctuations due to seasonality or other reasons.Ensure constant lean manufacturing and cost improvements in the day-to-day operation.Initiate and drive process development improvements in the area of manufacturing.Ensure competent and motivated staff through a respectful and trustful leadership. Key Challenges Manage change process successfully in reinforcing lean manufacturing principles throughout the organization.Assess and develop staff and leadership within the area of manufacturing.Show a pragmatic approach and be able to prioritize and adapt a situational leadership.Have a hands on approach blended with strategic insight.Leverage on cross-functional competence and resources. Profile Academic degree with a proven experience and success in managing manufacturing sites with a wide variety of products.Experience and passion for change management with a result and actions driven approach.Experience of lean and flow group manufacturing.Experience of metal steal stamped production is a major advantage.A passionate manufacturing soul with a proactive and entrepreneurial drive.A strong coach with excellent interpersonal skills.Strong team player with a sense of urgency to support and coordinate joint efforts.A strong communicator with an ability to motivate the staff. Reporting Structure You will lead a management team of 7 direct reports.
