PLANT MANAGER

Haldex Traction is a Swedish based, world-class automotive supplier specializing in the development, engineering, and assembly of AWD-systems.We currently have 250 employees and a yearly turnover of 110MU$.We have two European manufacturing sites and are expanding into global positions.The company is committed to superior product development, extensive quality disciplines, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and leadership.

In light of upcoming new establishment in Mexico, Haldex Traction AB is in the process of extending the scope of its organization.We seek skilled, dynamic and dedicated co-workers who would like to be a part of the start up of a new Haldex Traction System organization in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Plant Manager
The Plant Manager position is designed to be the local accountable in Guanajuato.Its main responsibility is to lead and coordinate the Plant to maintain commonality and link the specification and requirements originating from Haldex Traction AB s production process.

Responsibilities of the position include:

.Total responsible for the management of the plant
.Coordinating all activities related to production, such as assembly, logistics, maintenance, quality control, administration, HR and engineering
.Following the policies established by division management, in accordance to business plan, schedules, quantities, quality and costs.

Desired qualifications, skills and training:

.Experience of setup and insight in the processes of starting a new establishment
.Experience of working in an international organization preferable in the automotive-business.
.Engineering and/or Business Degree or equivalent background and experience
.Knowledge of Traction's operation, quality system and assurance processes/procedures
.Overall familiarity with the AWD-system
.Strong command of the English and Spanish language
.Well-developed oral/written communication skills
.Ability to multitask under pressure and be solution-oriented


Accountability
The position reports to the Haldex Traction Systems Division.Functionally belongs to the Haldex Traction Mexico organization.
