What You´ll Do

As the Plant Quality Manager, it will be your responsibility to drive and support the organization toward the vision of zero defects. Within the quality organization lies the responsibility to ensure the quality of products and services and assurance of compliance to ISO/IATF standards and Customer Requirements.

Too your aid you’ll lead a group of highly skilled Group Managers each responsible for: Supplier Quality & Product Analytics, Customer & Projects Quality, Production Quality & Quality Management Systems.

You work closely with your colleagues in the plant and you also need to form close collaboration with other stakeholders within the company e.g. Procurement and Research department.

Main areas and responsibility:

- Ensure that our production processes complies with the approval standards. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

- Manage Plant quality resources while driving a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation/maintenance of global quality standards, problem solving tools, and continuous improvement techniques.

- Lead work around analysis and interpret data, manuals and other materials to determine improvements areas and corrective actions.

- Ensure ISO/IATF coordination activity, define clear procedures and responsibilities.

- Secure accurate documentation and procedures

- Lead Customer quality issues and escalations

- Develop the entire organizations quality performance

You’ll be a member of the Operational Management team and report directly to the General Manager, you will also report to Magna Electronics Quality Management.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:

- Good skills in written and verbal communications, both Swedish and English

- Manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry

- Solid knowledge of Quality manufacturing ( preferably electronics industry) processes and statistics tools

- Customer relationship experience and high level of initiative and drive

- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards

- Experience as a Manager within engineering/automotive

- Documented Lean experience

- Strong leadership skills and a long-term strategic mindset

Education
University degree, within Engineering, or equivalent education /work experience
