Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is one of the fast-growing IT areas supporting business innovations and product development. Colleagues from all divisions and departments worldwide touch into PLM on daily basis and you will be operating in global key areas, where you, as Solution Architect Business, have a key role near all the Manufacturing/Production and Service parts functions.
Epiroc is using a wide range of PLM applications and solutions to support our internal and external users and global business processes. Many of these applications and solutions are critical to the business and hence, the requirement of efficient and well-structured maintenance management is essential to safeguard application and system availability for all users and processes.

Your mission 
As a Solution Architect Business, you will work closely with the business to understand business processes and requirements and how they can be realized in a PLM solution that supports the business needs.   
You will be the "bridge" between the business and IT. You will together with Solution Architect IT be responsible for transforming business needs through requirements into state-of-the-art PLM solutions for the business.
You will work strategically, tactically, operationally and be a part of a team of Solution Architects and report to the Manager for the PLM Project Office.

Your profile
To be successful in this role, we believe you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Manufacturing/Production and/or Service parts areas, both from CAD applications and process/solutions development. You have software experience in Creo and Teamcenter and previous experience as Solution Architect Business or as a Senior Manufacturing/Production Engineer. You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, in both speaking and writing.
As an ideal candidate, you are open, dynamic and strongly business/customer focused. You are adaptable and able to work at a place that requires a flexible mindset and considerable variety. You are cooperative, have a good-natured and helpful attitude and have a clear and transparent mindset in all situations. You are dependable, independent, able to handle critical and urgent situations in effective and calm manner.
Knowledge of the Swedish language and Business Architect education or similar certifications would be meritorious.


Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. At least 2-3 days in Örebro per week is required. In case a candidate from another country applies and is successful, Swedish local terms and conditions will apply.
