Vår vision handlar om att frigöra den potential som finns inom East Capital Universe genom fyra dimensioner - det kapital vi investerar, de bolag vi investerar i, hela regionen och våra medarbetare.PORTFOLIO CONTROLLER with legal background We are now offering an exciting opportunity to work for an international and independent asset manager.Our Middle Office department, located in Stockholm, is looking for a Portfolio Controller with a legal background.You will join a team of six people and report directly to the Head of Middle Office.With your legal background we believe that you will be a great complement to the current skill set of our dynamic team.You will play a unique and important role of the team by providing legal support and driving legal aspects of our current processes.Your main responsibilities .Draft, review, analyze and negotiate various third party agreements .Legal and regulatory research for the Eastern European, Asian and other markets that our products may cover .Cross border registration of our funds .Monitor the compliance with laws and regulations for a number of our investment funds .Monitoring and filing of ownership disclosures with the local authorities Qualifications .Academic background, law degree preferable (Jur kand not a requirement) .2 years of work experience related to drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements and documents, preferably with an Asset Manager or Fund Company..Knowledge of Swedish and EU laws and regulations related to investment funds is desirable .Fluent in Swedish and English.Russian and/or other Eastern European language skills are looked upon favorably. To be successful in this role we believe that you are analytical and have high integrity in your work.You have the ability to be the project leader, prioritize between a number of tasks and work independently.The work tasks also require you to be detailed oriented, responsible and organized.The position is on permanent basis.We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.Note that last day for applying is October 3rd 2010.
