Portfolio Test Engineer
Job description
As a Portfolio Test Engineer & System Specialist within the Epiroc Customer Experience Solutions organization it is your overall mission to develop test cases, conduct tests, report defects and carry out regression testing related to customer facing digital solutions. You will work together with the portfolio delivery teams to develop best practices, test strategies & plans. You also work proactively with test automation & exploring better ways to ensure quality is meeting and exceeding our standards, follow up on test results and turn these in to user stories with defined severity level. This includes factoring in security and ensuring that all information is safe.
You also develop deep knowledge and understanding of the systems you are responsible for as a test engineer, you support the business with technical questions that requires certain level of technical competence in your role as a system specialist.
You have also responsibility to:
The organizing body for ensuring QA tests are delivered and met in accordance with requirements.
* Together with delivery teams ensure there are developed test plans in place on which tests can be conducted.
* Conduct software testing, regression testing and follow up and improve on existing test plans.
* Support internal stakeholders with technical questions where a specific level of technical competence is required.
* Be responsible for maintaining test plan documentation and design.
* Work in close collaboration with other testers in the portfolio.

Location
This position can be based either in a world class innovation environment in the central parts of Stockholm, at one of our sites abroad close to our customer base or at the heart of our core development in Örebro. Travelling will be required in this position.
Mission
To be part of a team responsible for customer experience solutions within Epiroc and support with test management & system support in an end-to-end accountability.

As a person, you have a strong personal drive for testing, learning, exploring and finding better ways. You´re well organized with a good structure and ability to work independent as well as in teams. You also have strong oral/written communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical peers and management staff.
Requirements
University degree in relevant field or similar through experience is required. You have very strong knowledge of system integration architectures, approaches, techniques and technologies. In this roll, you need to have strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and test automation frameworks and you are fluent and professional in English. You have also a proven track record in managing software testing and working with test automation.
