Post doc position available at the Dept.of Rheumatology & Inflammation Research I have just moved from Cambridge (UK) to the Sahlgrenska Academy, Gothenburg (Sweden), and am in the process of setting up my lab at the Dept of Rheumatology & Inflammation Research.I am now looking for a postdoctoral research scientist to investigate aspects of Molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in pre-B cell receptor mediated selection based on our recent (Keenan et al, 'Censoring of Auto-reactive B Cell Development by the Pre-B Cell Receptor' Science, 321:696-9), and previous work (Mårtensson, I-L.et al, 'The pre-B cell receptor' Current Opinion in Immunol.19: 137-42, 2007) . I am looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys challenges and can work both independently and in a team.Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant subject preferably with experience in animal work/flow cytometry/ cell biology and/or molecular biology.As part of the job description is supervising other members of the lab, such as PhD and MSc students and visiting scientists.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attend scientific conferences.The position is available immediately.
