Post doc in aging research

ARC is a multidisciplinary center in which both the medical university Karolinska Institutet (KI) and Stockholm University (SU) are collaborating.The primary goals of ARC are to carry out and support high-quality aging research from a medical, psychological and social perspective.We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher in aging research to work with cohort studies to evaluate the effect of diabetes and metabolic disorders on the development of cognitive decline and dementia.As postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for analyzing data from different population based studies, and reporting the major findings.Applicants should hold a PhD awarded within the last five years in the field of epidemiology, preferably with a focus on aging research.Previous experience in research concerning chronic diseases in relation to cognitive impairment and dementia is a prerequisite.Deep knowledge in longitudinal data analysis as well as in the use of Stata, SAS and SPSS statistical software are needed.A full CV including date of public doctoral thesis defense, title of thesis, previous academic appointments, academic title, current position 2.A full publication list 3.A brief outline of previous and current work and a more detailed description of the methods you have experience of.
