Postdoc in protein biochemistry to develop an immunoassay

We are looking for a postdoc to take an existing project from proof of principle to proof of concept using a real-life immunological bioassay.
The research is cutting edge multi-disciplinary in nature, where branches of immunological biochemistry, protein chemistry and molecular biology are involved. With the ongoing global pandemic Covid-19, the project has the potential to truly create a global paradigm shift in ultra-sensitive biomolecular combination tests, taking them from specialised laboratories to the pocket at home. The research is urgent and will require intense laboratory work with a starting date as soon as possible.
Research team: KTH Department of Industrial Biotechnology, KTH Applied physics/photonics, RISE, University of Lowell, Massachusetts, Department of Chemistry as well as a private ad-hoc commercialisation company, Biatect AB who will act as project coordinator.
Postdoc qualifications: eligible candidates should have finished a doctoral degree in chemistry, biochemistry, protein chemistry or in a related discipline no longer than 4 years ago, and have an extensive biochemistry laboratory experience.
Interview period: Interviews are planned to commence 2020-11-01, the position may be filled from then if a suitable candidate is found. However, if interested, please make contact after that date to find out if interviews are still in progress.
Scholarship: Corresponding to KTH standard (paid by Biatect AB). Potential future option program. The funding is for full time employment for 4 months. If the trials are successful, three postdoc scholarships will be offered to run in parallel for 12 months.
