Do you have interest and experience in graphene and other 2D materials and want to immerse yourself further- look at this! Do you want to bring 2D materials and graphene films into market? Do you want to further develop your entrepreneurship? Let's validate our ideas in this project and turn it into products through our startup!
Project description
The research group "Polymer Chemistry and Electronics" leading by Professor Ergang Wang at the Department of Chemistry and Chemcial Engineering has a focus on the synthesis and characterization of conjugated materials and 2D materials for applications in organic solar cells, organic field effect transistors (OFETs), organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and supercapacitors. We strive to be a “collaborative, creative and dynamic” group. Academic freedom, interdisciplinary research, entrepreneurship and making societal impact, are key factors in our work. We strive to offer an environment where you can combine world leading research and teaching with a good work-life balance.
The main focus of the project is the synthesis of graphene and other 2D materials, as well as the fabrication of graphene films for thermal dissipation and other applications such as energy conversion and storage. Research experience in the related fields is highly appreciated. We have the aim to commercialize the research results, therefore, if you have experience in product design, marketing, communication with customers it will be a merit. This position is supported by the WALP programme through the Knut & Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
