Power System Scientist

Responsibilities
The work will include analysis and simulation of equipment operating within a power system.Emphasis will be on distribution, industry system and DG-system.The person is required to have the ability to understand the economical, technical and environmental aspects of a power system.The work is mainly carried out in project form.

Qualifications
Excellent analyzing capabilities of power system issues like analytic calculations, load-flow studies, dynamic stability, fault calculations and system grounding is essential.Software experience with PSS/E, Simpow, Matlab and/or EMT/DC (or similar programs) is required.You should hold a Ph.D.in Power Systems or alternatively a MSc with some experience.Professional experience with industry systems, distributed generation systems, cable systems, power apparatus design or insulation coordination knowledge is considered a bonus.Field experience from utility or power related industry is also very valuable.Creativity and taking own initiatives are valuable personal skills in the team effort to deliver results in the projects.
