Net Insight, listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, was founded in 1997 and has approximately 100 employees in Sweden, USA and Singapore.Net Insight seeks a highly skilled Pre-sales Engineer & Technical Instructor The position includes two roles, both as a Pre-sales Engineer and as a Technical Instructor.In the Pre-sales Engineer role you will work in a close relationship with our account managers both with new customer opportunities as well as our existing customers around the globe. Responsibilities .Make customer network analysis and transform these into technical solutions conducting network planning and design.. Provide technical consultation to customers and partners on our products.. Build and maintain relationships with our customers' technical experts and other leading technical decision makers in the networking and media market.In the Technical Instructor role you will, together with the Training Manager, develop the right balance of trainings to support our customers and markets.Responsibilities .Capture training needs for customers and partners . Develop, implement, organize and coordinate the training event as well as the follow up and evaluation.. Scheduling and facilitate the respective trainings in house as well as on site (trainings at the customer premises) Functional skills and personal characteristics .You should have a minimum of 5 years (10 years preferred) of successful systems engineer pre-sales support in the area of TV broadcasters, network operators or network equipment vendors.. Excellent communication, administrative, organizational and language skills . Extensive knowledge about networking techniques such as SDH/SONET, ATM and IP/MPLS.. Previous experience in specification and/or design of networks for DVB-T, DVB-H and/or IPTV is an advantageous..
