Thin Film Electronics ASA (?Thinfilm?) is a publicly listed Norwegian technology company with its head office in Oslo and product development in Linköping, Sweden. Thinfilm is focused on providing low-power, non-volatile, rewritable polymer memory technology and products in the rapidly growing market of Printed Electronics. Thinfilm offers an exciting place to work where we are pioneering all aspects of polymer memory production and novel use of printed electronics. You will have opportunities for growth through involvement in various high-tech projects and working with very skilled partners. We are looking for an experienced process or print-engineer to be based in Linköping, Sweden. The job will include development of print processes for various materials and layers in Thinfilm?s memory devices. You will further develop our present product processes for next generation products, participating in product development. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for process dimensioning, layout, procurement of equipment, process development, and documentation of standard operating procedures and other work methods. The successful applicant will have responsibility for improving existing processes and suggesting improvements to the product to improve yield and production efficiency. You will work with print processes including gravure and inkjet and coating processes such as slot die and micro-gravure. The role includes responsibility for small scale manufacturing of products and roadmap prototypes. Part of the work of the work will be done at Thinfilm?s own laboratory and part will be performed jointly with our partners located both in Scandinavia and internationally. Experience and formal qualifications in process development, printing of functional materials, and polymer chemistry is highly relevant, though we also look for and value personal initiative, the ability to work independently and in teams, and demonstrated English-language communication skills. Requirements: - 3-5 years experience of microelectronics processing or printing of functional materials - M Sc in engineering, preferably within the printing, chemistry or material science areas - You shall have both a practical and theoretical knowledge about microelectronics processing or printing of functional materials - Experience with modifying inks for functional material is desired - We expect that you are an inventive person good at solving problems in the lab - We expect that you enjoy doing careful practical and theoretical work in a high-paced environment
