Print Process Engineer

YOUR EDUCATION Master of Science (MS) Degree Major: Process engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Solar Cell Engineering YOUR DUTIES - Manage trials and initial manufacturing runs for new prototypes - Design screen print patterns - Support transfer of new materials or processes into the printing environment - Prepare substrates using computer or hand-cut methods - Control machines and inspect quality of printing - Prepare reports on material, product or equipment performance - Support the quality assurance organization proper quality metrics, measurement tools, statistical process control - Troubleshoot technological problems - Document all aspects of the printing process - Keep records of work completed - Load substrates and adjust registers of feeder mechanisms - Mix and load ink - Load printed items into drying racks, and unload and stack dry items - Cleaning machines - Maintaining screen printing equipment - Carry out general finishing operations YOUR SKILLS - Fluent English - Knowledge of the screen printing equipment - Clear vision - Hand-eye coordination are crucial - Experience from printed electronics is a merit - Willingness to handle and mix the chemicals used in screen printing ink - Must enjoy practical manual work - Excellent communication skills - Knowledge of Swedish is regarded favourably - Other language skills are regarded favourably YOUR PERSONALITY - Creative - Diligent - Loyal - Self-motivated - Problem solver - High work ethics - Team-player - Organized
