Process and Methodology Practitioner
Engineering Support is a role within Research & Development (R&D). The role supports all Engineering Departments with help for the IT-applications Teamcenter, TCVis, Catia and Exter via phone, email or on-site-support.

As an Engineer in the Support Team you support the work processes and methods in the applications Teamcenter, TCVis, DPA0, Catia V4/V5, Document Portal, Exter and some KDP. As an Engineer in the Support Team you are a specialist at the methods regarding the above mentioned applications.

You are involved in the process where the methods are created and developed. The Support Engineer have a strong ability to understand, adapt and guide the customer (Design Engineer/ Engineer etc.) in a pedagogic way to solve the customers issue.

The Engineering Support role´s main responsibilities:

• User support for the IT-applications Teamcenter (TC), TCVis, Catia and Exter V2, mainly by phone/lync/mail.
• Responsible for relaying application related information between users and administrators of Teamcenter (TC), TCVis, Catia and Exter V2.
• Responsible for IT and educational support to the line and project organisations.
• Active involvement in the ongoing improvements and changes to the applications and their surrounding functions in cooperation with Volvo IT and administrators of Teamcenter (TC), TCVis, Catia and Exter V2.

Qualifications:

• University degree
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
• Very good knowledge of Catia V5 and Teamcenter
• Very good knowledge about the VCC release process
• Experience from support work is considered an additional qualification
• Experience from construction is considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge about the area Product Documentation
• Educational skills
• Good knowledge of our products
