Process Design Engineers

Borealis is a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions. We are now looking for at least 3 talented engineers within Polyolefins Process Technology (P&TS). Role Purpose: To develop process design packages together with engineering contractors for the polyolefins plant projects in Borealis and its joint ventures. Secure, through own expertise that the latest process technology is applied in new investment projects and provide technical support to those projects during execution and start-up. Contribution: - Participates in the development of new solutions to enhance the performance of Borstar and other Borealis technology - Prepares Process Design Packages and participates in Basic and Detail engineering work in investment projects Provides technical support for start-ups - Participates in investigations & studies for technology improvements - Implements improvements in plant design - Interface to large projects, engineering companies, Polyolefins Process R&D, Polyolefins Asset & Technical development Skills: - MSc in Chemical Engineering from acknowledged university, or equivalent - Mastery of English at business level - Mastery of relevant IT and simulation tools - Preferably experience in one of polyolefin process technology, project engineering, polyolefins production Behavior: - Conceptual thinking - Expertise - Initiative - Innovation Other information: You will report to PO Process Technology Manager.
