Currently we are recruiting for a Process Design Manager to our Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. The purpose of the position is to develop and implement new and/or improved machine process solutions for wound care products in order to meet customer needs in accordance to the business strategy. Key areas are the interaction between materials and processes that results in the final product properties and to guide in process risk management issues.
Key accountabilities:
Specify, design and implement new or improved process solutions within the wound management area in order to reach the goals identified in the business strategy.
Lead or participate in cross functional CNTV projects and line activities to develop and implement new or improved process solutions.
Continuously search for and propose new process solutions. If possible protect inventions by patent applications to strengthen our competitive position.
Design new or improved material/process combinations that results in new or improved products properties.
Introduce new technologies in order to maintain or reach technical leadership .
Create and maintain contacts with suppliers of materials, technology in order to ensure best available input to develop technical solutions.
Participate in R&D Competence Groups in order to develop and increase knowledge within defined competence areas. Educate colleagues.
Lead and/or participate in prototype- to full scale production
Document project results, technical specifications and risk management records in accordance with the CNTV system to ensure that the demands on documentation from external and internal stakeholders are fulfilled.
Process risk analysis and protection of inventions by patents
Drive and develop the competence area
Act as a mentor for colleagues in the team and develop the organizations’ competence within the competence area.
Give Significant input to the decision-makers in projects

Qualifications & experience:
Academic background in Engineering (Bachelor or Master Degree) or corresponding experience.
>7 years experience in R&D activities & manufacturing production processes
High skills in field of expertise
Act as mentor for colleges in the team
Pedagogical skills to develop the organisations competence within the competence area
Lead internal education/training within the specialist area.
Ability to drive and develop the competence area
