Borealis is now looking for a Process Development Engineer, Hydrocarbons Borealis is a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions.We are now looking for a talented engineer to strengthen our development teams in Stenungsund, Sweden.You will be part of a cross-disciplinary team with the mission to develop the design and operation of our plants; Role Purpose You will be one of the technical specialists in the Olefin production with the responsibility to develop and improve technical, economical and HSE&Q aspects of the existing Olefin plant in Sweden, Finland and Belgium.There will also be possibilities to give technical support to our Olefin production plants in Finland and Belgium as part of our European wide organization.After three to four years there are also possibilities for assignments abroad.Contribution *Improve the efficiency of the Olefin plant complexes *Identify and initiate improvement projects *Assist in benefit studies and preparing project proposals *Manage projects engineered by external contractors *Participate in start-up, commissioning and tuning of the plant or parts of it *Trouble-shooting and problem solving in the plant *Be active in information sharing in order to boost team performance *Contribute to overall HSE&Q performance, keeping high HSE&Q standards Knowledge, skills and experience *Master of Science or equivalent in Chemical Engineering *At least 2-3 years experience in design and/or operation of process industry *Excellent problem solving ability, dealing with complex solutions *Project management skill is a plus *Fluent in Swedish and English oral and written *Ability to build a broad contact network inside Borealis and outside *Ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams Behavior *Achievement and result oriented *Analytical thinking *Expertise *Cultural awareness *Flexibility *Initiative *Concern for order and quality For this position, Borealis is working with Addeco Engineering.Follow the link below to submit your application.Use the link below to apply.
