Arbetsuppgifter

Responsibilities The Process Engineer function in the HSE & Process Technology dept. supports the Functional Chemicals Stenungsund site by providing expertise in chemical engineering and continuous improvements. The function is vital in our strive to minimize operational costs and to improve our HSE and sustainability performance. We are increasing the number of process engineers with two. Main responsibility will be to support the long term process hazard review program (PHR) for ESD facilities on Site. Main tasks and responsibilities are: Responsible for preparing, participate in, and implement and follow up measures based on risk analysis and safety studies (HAZOP / SIL) within the period of Hazard Review (PHR) program within the defined process areas of the site Initiates investment projects and modifications (MOD) connected to the HAZOP / SIL studies Provide training in process area focusing process safety Responsible for compiling and reporting the status / progress of HAZOP / SIL studies and investment projects Responsible for periodic updating of the PHR program within defined process areas in line with the requirements set by Akzo Nobel Corporate HSE Participate active during audits

Utbildning/Erfarenhet

To be successful in this position you should have a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and experience from working in the field of process engineering, technology or manufacturing. Ability to analyze and evaluate complex process technology issues from a technical as well as an economic point of view. Good communicational skills, both written and verbal, in english and swedish. As a person you are entrepreneurial and curious, responsible and result oriented.
