Process Expert Purchasing

Purchasing, which directly affects the financial performance of Sandvik Tooling, is currently going through a challenging development program.There is a need to further improve current methods and processes including corresponding IT-support.Further, to match the Sandvik Tooling IT-strategy, there is also a need to start working with the long term business process design.Key Performance areas The responsibilities of the role include gathering in-depth knowledge regarding current processes and systems and from this platform work with the buyers to identify and deliver improvements at operational, tactical as well as strategical level.You will act as the process expert for purchasing incl IS/IT-support.Our goal is for you to master both the current so called Common Business Platform and a long term future scenario where standard systems are likely to replace internal solutions.One important feature in this role is the ability to clearly translate business needs in terms that are understood by the provider/-s of systems development.
