Process Proposals Engineer

We are currently looking for a Process Proposals Engineer to our office in Sala where we work with solutions for the mining and construction industries. The role of the Process Proposals Engineer will be to work with process design of a concentrator plant and to prepare proposals for complete concentrator plants. You will be involved in the process design work of a concentrator plant and work in several projects simultaneously, including preparation of process flow sheets, mass balances, metallurgical balances, basic P&ID?s, gathering price information, preparing estimates, proposal documents, etc. Job duties include to follow a project from initial process design stage throughout the project execution and commissioning of the plant, to manage design changes throughout the project execution and to support the sales process and later the project for a successful sale and execution while maintaining an ethical, proficient and co-operative approach with clients, suppliers and colleagues. The job requires travelling, both domestic and international. You have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (Minerals Processing / Metallurgy) or equivalent training/experience with a minimum of 2 years related experience. Experience from plant design or process engineering in the mining business, preferably from concentrator plants for copper-, iron-, lead/zink- gold-, diamond and/or other ores is a merit. You have good knowledge in the English technical language, fluent in reading/writing and speech, as well as excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and effective interpersonal skills as you will have frequent interaction with both internal and external customers and suppliers. You also have strong computer skills, including all Microsoft Office Products and Lotus Notes. You must be able to function effectively both as a member of a team and as an individual contributor and you are a highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines while effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time. For required travels you must have a valid driver?s license and passport.
