About the company
During the current pandemic, many countries in the world lacked medical equipment of high quality. Our client founded the company to make a difference and started to import medical equipment such as face masks and medical gloves to Sweden from Asia, basing the business on local contacts.
The company has grown exponentially and have clients all over Europe, focusing on flexible work methods, diplomatic relationships, and fast deliveries of high quality medical equipment.

About the role
As a Procurement Assistant you will be part of the procurement department working towards the East Asian/Chinese market. Your main focus will be on assisting the department manager with a wide range of both administrative and procurement related tasks. Your work tasks will vary from day to day. More specifically the tasks can include:
– Organize, coordinate, and prioritize your manager´s schedule
– Handle customer contact related to order confirmations and procurement in general
– Manage contract related inquiries
You will assist the department manager with both phone calls and email, and all the business related activities will be documented in the ERP-system Pyramid.
You will be hired as a consultant through EMPLOID but work at our client´s office.
Qualifications
– University degree, preferably within business, law and/or medicine
– Experience of working in similar roles
– Fluent in English, both verbal and written
– Mandarin and Swedish are meritorious
– Experience of working in a start-up company is meritorious
In order to thrive in the role as Procurement Assistant you must have an entrepreneurial mindset and recognize the required traits to succeed in a start-up. You must be able to cooperate with your colleagues and have great communication skills. Your work method is characterized by structure, which is a quality needed to plan both your own and the department manager´s schedule. Additionally, you must be flexible and be prepared to handle unexpected situations.
