We are now looking for a Product Developer within Trays and Surgical Instrument Team!
As a Product Developer you will be supporting and/or driving the development of new and improved products. Based on customer insight, product-, process- and material knowledge you provide the category with new possibilities and competitive solutions.
You will be working with projects where you have the possibility to improve and develop the future within health care.
As a Product Developer you will:
Lead or participate in cross-functional development projects to meet defined targets in quality, deliver results in time and keep within agreed costs to achieve the financial goals of the project portfolio
Participate as Product Designer and/or Project Manager in Mölnlycke product development projects
Ensure that product documentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements/MDR, and Mölnlycke internal Quality Management System.
Be accountable to deliver in assigned design control roles
Give input to generate new product ideas
Propose and drive solutions to complex technical issues
Lead or participate in organizational development work driving efficiency

Your qualifications:
Master's degree or bachelor’s degree in engineering, life science or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience within product development within medical devices.
Experience from product development within mechanical and electronics is an advantage
Technical knowledge in assigned medical device area
Experience in customer insight driven product development
Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to the medical devices
Knowledge in Quality Management System and Design control
Good team-working skills and communication skills, project management experience of product development projects within medical devices
Performance driven/results-oriented mindset and customer focused
Knowledge in distribution of medical devices e.g. distributor/importer, sourcing agreements and requirements
Business acumen
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

The successful applicant is a positive team player with a high degree of customer focus and with a business-oriented mindset. You are used to deliver results with high quality within deadlines. It is essential having a good ability to structure and prioritize your work, as you will be involved in several cross-functional projects at various stages of development.
Preferably you have a background in design within medical devices. Experience in regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices, e.g. MDR. Previous experience with surgical instruments is preferable. This is a full-time permanent position based in Gothenburg.
